In terms don't bother joining those spam encouraging or always spamming in exchange with almost 1k members because yea that's all you'll get people who aren't really looking for a guild but just want a bit of a network. If you check the forums or wowprogress or perhaps on here it is still possible to find guilds that are a fantastic community. Finding the proper host and community is what makes WOW WoTLK Classic click and eventually become truly amazing, do not let the negativity in certain areas allow you to give up!
I don't know if I agree. My experience with retail communities generally is non existent. Nobody speaks unless they need to. You make one mistake in an alt at 10 key? Youre trash and should eliminate WoW. And that is coming from somebody who contributes several communities. I've been part of numerous end-game forms of content as people have suggested here. I'm 3k IO, have attempted Mythic raiding multiple situations that growth the mythic raiders are the absolute worst people I've met. And this does not appear exclusive to one or two guilds but nearly.
Direction comes from intimidation, blames are made on everybody each time a wipe occurs even when its on a supervisor after in the tier on the first wipe and the amount of simply dumb attitudes I notice from individuals has made sure I will never join a guild again. In WOW WoTLK Classic, the quantity of toxicity I have run into is minimal. And a fantastic chunk of this toxicity exists since the lack of customer service from Blizzard. They don't care about ninjas. They do not care about scammers. They tell you too poor. But outside of this? The neighborhood is helpful lively and full.
I do not have to do anything. I do world quest and emissary when I want to. I won't drop anything, I will not be supporting others for this. I do assaults and daily eyesight because I like those. Some of the everyday quests. My back is at max level, max resistance, I run 5 mask vision once weekly, 2-4 vision with 4 mask to farm some memento and attempt to be better at those mechanisms or explore things and rares in vision.
