Marvel Tea

The Marvel legend began about nine years before its inception when in the mid-eighties, the Jain brothers started taking interest in the family run Kirana store in the small town of Uklana and found their mutual love in tea. In the subsequent years, they learned and understood everything about tea, right from tea tasting to packaging and distribution. More importantly, they started dreaming and laying the groundwork for taking their love of tea to the masses.

In 1994, their vision of providing excellent quality tea to people in India and abroad, materialised in the form of Marvel Tea Estate. The years of hard work preceding the launch meant that within the first five years, Marvel tea had reached the markets of Haryana, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Chandigarh, Delhi NCR, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

With the turn of the century, Marvel Group tasted unprecedented success in various sectors. In 2003, Marvel Tea was accredited with the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 certification for its religiously maintained quality standards. It also became a global brand with its launch in the markets of Korea, Italy, Egypt, USA, Australia, Hong Kong, and the Gulf countries.

Marvel Group believes in giving back to the society, the love that they have received from it. A manifestation of the belief is the Marvel Eye Hospital in Uklana, started in the year 2005. The hospital conducts periodic free eye checkup and consultation camps, and raises awareness about eye health among the local residents and surrounding villages.

2010 turned out to be a milestone year for Marvel Group when it strategically moved its headquarters to the high rising Marvel Tower in Gurgaon. The move to the National capital region proved vital in the group’s expansion.

Marvel Tea is a respected member of FAITTA (Federation of all India tea traders association). Today, it is one of the largest tea brands of India with a monthly production capacity of millions of kilograms of tea and a robust network of about a thousand distributors. The production facility in Uklana is a fully automated state of the art unit where tea leaves aren’t touched by a single pair of hands during their journey from procurement to packets.

Throughout its journey, Marvel group has remained intact on the path of success under the exemplary leadership of its directors. The constant efforts of the core management group and the wholehearted commitment of its dedicated workforce have propelled the group to stupendous heights.
